Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Auto Electricians. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a specialised trade while gaining hands-on experience working with vehicle electrical systems. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop your skills and complete your Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• On-the-Job Training: Work under the guidance of qualified Auto Electricians to learn the trade.

• Diagnose and Repair: Assist in identifying and repairing electrical faults in vehicles and machinery.

• Installations: Help install accessories such as lighting, GPS systems, and two-way radios.

• Preventative Maintenance: Learn to perform regular checks and maintenance on vehicle electrical systems.

• Tool Use: Gain experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment.

• Safety Practices: Follow all workplace health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• Worksite Clean-Up: Assist in keeping the workshop clean and organised.

• Study and Coursework: Commit to completing all TAFE studies and coursework required for the apprenticeship program.

What We’re Looking For

• A strong interest in the automotive or electrical trade.

• A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople.

• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic understanding of tools and equipment (preferred but not essential).

• A reliable and punctual team player.

• A valid Australian driver’s licence (or working towards obtaining one).
